Everyone gets a chance to pie a fraternity brother of Sigma Chi today in Risman Plaza as part of their annual philanthropy Derby Days.

For a minimum donation of $1, pies can be thrown at members of Sigma Chi from 2 to 6 p.m.

Friday, The University Plaza Theatre will donate a portion of ticket sales from a noon movie, and there will also be a Hollywood-themed trivia and celebrity look-a-like event at 6 p.m. in the Michael Schwartz Center.

Penny Wars is a week-long event during which each sorority has a bucket for pennies and other change to be collected to donate to Sigma Chi.

Events for the week are on a point system and are a competition between sororities to see which sorority can donate the most money. All proceeds will go to the Akron Children's Hospital.
