Kent police made a third arrest Thursday night in connection to the February home invasion where four Kent State students were allegedly held at gunpoint and robbed at 206 University Drive.
Troy Edward Midder, 26, of Cleveland, was taken into custody at the Painesville Police Department where he was being held on an unrelated traffic charge, according to Kent Police.
Midder is charged with complicity to aggravated robbery. His preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Friday at the Kent Municipal Court.
Midder's arrest is the third that police have made in the case. Josip Medved and Christopher M. Blecic, both 22 and of Eastlake, were indicted last month on charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping. Both have pre-trials slated for May.
