A show at the Rathskeller will feature three local bands - Lotus Groove, REALLY and The Shiva Zoo - at 8 p.m. tonight. Erik Diaz, drummer from the band Hot Tuna, will perform with the first two acts, guest-appearing as a duel drummer with Lotus Groove.

REALLY is made up of Lotus Groove bassist Jim Garibaldi and keyboardist Mike Lobalzo.

Diaz has performed with musical legends such as Jack Casady and Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, as well as G.E. Smith and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin.

The event is free to all students 18 and over, and $2 for non-students. The Rathskeller bar will remain open and will have a $0.35 wing special after 11 p.m. The event is sponsored by the All-Campus Programming Board.

I think we need more big names in the Ratt, like smaller but more well known people like we do at Minnessota State.
