Women's golf tees off today

The women's golf team looks to pick up where it left off in the fall at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla., at River Wilderness Country Club.
Among the teams competing will be Ohio State, Michigan and Indiana.
In their last tournament held Oct. 29-31, the Flashes placed third in a field of 18 at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown. The fall season's record carries over into the spring.
Kent State has won eight consecutive Mid-American Conference titles.
Tee time for the women is at 8 a.m. today and 1 p.m. Tuesday.
