Kent City Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at 4:10 this morning at the Circle K store on North Mantua Street/state Route 43. Kent City Police, who could not be reached for comment, said in a news release that a suspect, described as a black male about 6-feet tall and bald, obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the store. The Kent City Council voted last night to place the recall of five of its nine members on special ballots in accordance with the Kent City Charter. Kent residents will vote on the matter during a special election to be held Jan. 13.
