The 17-member group, led by Dr. Kazadi wa Mukuna, performed at the Carl F. W. Ludwig Recital Hall in its third performance of the semester. The evening started with the ensemble entering the hall singing an African piece titled "Kamalondo/ Mwa Poleni." David Irving filed a libel lawsuit against Deborah Lipstadt for naming him a Holocaust denier in her book, Denying the Holocaust. Al Sharpton's National Action Network is prepared to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice concerning Kent police conduct during the May 17 booking of a 24-year-old man. The Kent State Anti-War Committee will hold demonstrations in the Student Center and Risman Plaza to protest the war in Iraq throughout today. Beginning in the Student Center at noon, participants will silently hold signs along the windows in the Hub.
