I for one am the "scourge" in our home. Every time an advertisement comes on the Television, I MUTE the offending piece of trash!

I don't want to buy a car, have that "look" that women would die for, the fancy shoes that will make me jump like I was twelve feet tall, or any other silly notion that I am "not square if I don't be there" attitude they are trying to portray and beat into the American conscious.

I go to the store and buy what I want. If a new product comes out, and I happen to see it on the Television and in a muted stage, then I may wait for the next series of mind numbing set of commercials to be run again and see it for the umpteenth time during my day.

But, until they get a device, (yea, that TIVO was a nice item until the Advertising Industry DEMANDED that thier commercials be seen and now they have to show some), that can by pass every commercial, then I would buy it and enjoy it.

I wish you well...
