French, a philosophy professor at Arizona State University, wrote to serbianna.com, saying the poster for "On Being Morally Challenged by Collective Memories," contains statements that give a false impression of the intent and focus of the speech, which was scheduled for today....

There was even a Children's concentraton camp run by Roman Catholic nuns. It was there that Serbian babies and little children were tortured and murdered. THIS IS FACT. Check out the Holocaust Museum in Washington. You folks can learn much!
Croatian Utaschis also provided an SS division to Hitler as a mere token of their strong support for his "New Order".

Most of the Jasenovic camp leaders and guards, escaped prosecution through "rat-lines" established by American Army intelligence. The Allies had some idea of bringing the old Croatian Nazis back in the future, to fight American's other enemy, the COMMUNISTS under Tito.
The Allies saved thousands of Nazis who had been allied with Hitler from Bosnia, Kosovo and Albania. The same reason, too. To use them to fight communists, later. But that "later" never came.
However, these old Nazis did not go back to the Balkans to fight Communists. They got money from the US Government and her allies. They actually had some sort of "pensions". Some of them lived in the USA, some in Canada, some in Austrailia, some in England and some in South America.
I guess the only folks in the Balkans who DID NOT support Hitler got the "shaft" from the Allies. These were the Serbian people and their Royalist, ANTI-NAZI soldiers, the Chetniks and their leader General Draza Mihailovic.
Hey, SURE they saved over 500 American pilots and their flight crews from the Nazis and Croatian Utaschis. But a Communist spy in the British government, named Kim Philby convinced the West not to back the good General and to back Tito the Communist.
When Tito took power in Yugoslavia he had General Mihailovic and many of his followers executed.
Fast forward to the civil war that destroyed Yugoslavia. Enough blame to go around. But somehow, only the Serbs get MOST of it. Even though MORE of them were killed in Bosnia and Croatia. Despite the fact that MORE of them were made refugees, over 700,000. More of their land was taken over by the other sides. The Serbs got MORE of everything bad, even blame.
Sometimes I wonder who really stood to gain the most by a civil war in Yugoslavia? It was certainly NOT the Serbian people. Not the Croatians or Bosnians either.
Who gained??
It was the Western companies who NOW, own most of the food processing business', hotels and boats on the Coast, rights to the CLEAN-BURNING COAL, silver, gold and lead mines of Kosovo, vineyards in Kosovo, forests of hardwoods in SLovenia and Croatia and of course, the gambling casinos in Montenegro. The list is huge but space here is limited.
By the way, I am just an American with no ties to the Balkans other than a desire to know what REALLY caused the break-up of Yugoslavia. Perhaps, It was lust for more money and power by Western countries. But now, all that financial gain would be blood money, if that is true.
