Chancellor Eric Fingerhut to spend the night at KSU

Abstract:
The Chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents, Eric Fingerhut, will visit campus today and spend the night in Centennial C. "It's a learning opportunity for him to kind of dive deeper into Kent State and meet and talk with people and learn more about what we're up to," said Charlene Reed, secretary to the Board of Trustees and senior assistant to the president....

I bet you that the Friday morning breakfast will not include one single bargaining unit member from AFSCME local 153 to tell the chancellor how badly we are treated here. I am sure our $9.94 cents an hour dining service employees will as usual give there all to make the breakfast.
The university needs to be exposed for what they really are, especially whenever the Vice President of Human Resources tells the President of the local he will take an offer back to the trustees for consideration then doesn't even talk to them and lies to me about it. Check that story out about Mr. Will Walker why don't you ????
We don't get any respect from this University yet they want our best 24/7 ?? Why don't the stator ask Lestor if his raise he took was reasonable considering the economy ?? How about Alvin Evans & Will Walker were there raises reasonable??? Try looking up Mr. Evans past in Cleveland on Google, you may find his history quite interesting ???
I think we will start opening up a lot of cans of worms here, Let's use the sunshine law to find out what some of the millions Mr. Lefton spent was on ?? We have asked for itemizations & were ignored , so I guess we will hire our own lawyer to request the information that we want to expose to the taxpayers, money spent as well as e-mail correspondences.
Stay tuned for more "The Truth Hurts"

Let's see now...the Univeristy pays for such administrative-policy-wonks as Jerusha Kelson and Alvin Evans to attend their quaint little "boot camp" seminars in the Cleveland area or for Doc Lefton and his entourage(shades of Mike Tyson) to stay in $1800 per night, 5-star hotel accomodations during their European working vacations, yet the common working person is supposed to "suck it up" during these tough economic times???

Um, Willis Walker, the current VP of Human Resources, is the only common denominator between the Cartwright Administration and the Lefton Administration, each of which took a completley different legal stance as to the propriety of the Univeristy's provison of "domestic partner benefits". So, as far as the Ohio Constitutional Ammendment has remained the same...who was wrong...Doc Cartwright, Doc Lefton, or the lame University Legal Counsel headed by Willis Walker???

Remember when Governor Strickland came to Campus? KSU Admin didn't assign any special maintenance to be on-hand for the event (they do for sporting events), and those few of us who attended his speech at the Student Center had to use vacation hours; Admin and Faculty "got in for free".

Sigh..."trickle down economics" is no more acceptable through Ohio's public university system than it is through Wall Street, eh, Doc Lefton?

The last administrative-policy-wonk who "deigned" spend a day amongst the common folk at KSU was himselfness, Mike McDonald. Sigh, at least the Chancellor made it through a whole day...didn't he?

Yo...'Chance', babs...did you happen to lay the law down on Doc Lefton that he and his "entourage" are to fly business class from now on for their working vacations? C'mon, bud! Inquisitive minds want to know!
