So, in the meantime...don't worry...be happy. Our tax/tuition dollars are going toward supporting a few jobs that pay well through research firms in Kent(finally) and many low-paying manufacturing jobs in third-world countries...so we can have a better "toaster"?

I wonder if the polymer folk at the U. of A. have had any greater success contributing to the well-being of the communities where it's situated? I mean, where the rubber meets the road...where's the jobs?
