University's Statement on College Fest Event

An event intended to celebrate the end of the semester grew out of control this weekend. While the event was a private party and not a university-sponsored activity, obviously many Kent State students were involved.

Lessons like Lefton not wanting to be disturbed on a Saturday night about things happening at his place of employment.

Yes, let us learn what we can from these events. That behavior is certainly not professional nor does it promote safety or concern for the community. An apology is a start in Lefton's 'working to move forward together.'
