Mr. Zajac got off very lucky in my opinion...

I think he should have been charged with attempted murder!! Anyone pushing some one in front of a moving Tow Truck, is plainly trying to "kill" some one! (You just don't "do that" for kicks, your deliberately trying to get some one run over, and what the man had against this person whom he shoved, I guess we will never know).

Its by the Grace of GOD, that his "victim" survived, or, he may very well be facing murder charges and sent up for a very long time... I know, if it was "my Son" who got pushed, I would have wanted this idiot who did it, put away for a very long time, so that he doesn't become a danger to himself and others, as he apparently "is" when ever he is drinking!!

He should also pay restitution to Mr. Dana Lim for all the pain and suffering that he has to go through now, as the result of a stupid decision that Zajac made that night.

I don't care if anyone was making a fool of themselves, or being a real pain, there is utterly NO reason some one should push some one out in front of a moving vehicle, so that they could suffer death, or long time injuries... Nothing is excusable in this instance, no even if they were both under the influence of alcohol, because it simply brought out the hatefulness of Mr. Zajac, and let him "do what he naturally would have wanted to do, and did it".

I apologize for the ill-informed comments made by my father. I am sure you are all quite familiar with him as his days are filled with commenting on every story written on by the Daily Kent Stater. We are in the process of getting him help. He is an idiot.

I completely agree with Mr. Merino. Zajac obviously attempted to take another man's life, and alcohol is no excuse.

That was "not" my Son who posted that second post!

My Son is at home, and doesn't "read" the Kent Stater, and wouldn't even "think" of insulting me as this young man did..(I suspect that he is part of that same "house" that the young man ran into, where they wouldn't give out any information to the Police about the "incident"!

bb - i am truly sorry that you think mr. merino's comments have been "well informed". you obviously haven't been following this story since day one.

Let me help justify a few things on Zajacs' behalf. That asshole that got run over by the tow truck picked a fight and punched Nick first. Nick punched him back, the guy fell off the curb and into the street, and the rest is history. That Lim guy is a total liar.
