Abstract:
The trend of fast-food entertainers has flooded the main stream and has inspired almost everyone to try out to be an upcoming star in the entertainment industry.
Whether it's "American Idol", "America's Next Top Model" or "The White Rapper Show", anybody can bypass the struggles to stardom to live out their "dream....

WOW, we have a lot of Idol fans.
So sad that America loves to watch people get put down and crushed for some entertainment. Who wouldn't love to listen to Simon embarrass and crush someones dreams. Hopefully one day he can give us all advice. What we will do until then? Who knows. I hope American Idol goes for 30 more seasons. What will we do if they finally get common sense and shut it down. Oh NO. All the NO talent people. What will they do? I guess get a real job maybe even school. The shows that hurt people are cool. I love to watch people get crushed and fail at their dreams. Makes my day. Even better when its on live TV in front of millions of people. No turning back then.
As for the old man, He does need to retire. He cant sing. They do like to put people out there with no talent. Well then again what would we do if there was no one hit wonders. Then another cruel show would be off the air.
What is the world coming to. More EVIL the better. We cant get enough. I know I cant.

How old are you, 12? If you think 30 is ready for the rocking chair, you must be a "tweener."
Taylor Hicks paid his dues, performing PROFESSIONALLY for more than 10 years while honing his craft.
Have you even heard him sing live?
I love his voice, his passion for the music he sings, and his love for his audience. This is a far cry from Timberlack's screeching and childish whining.
I wonder what kind of "review" you would have given Ray Charles, Michael McDonald, et. al. when they were first recording...hmmmm
Well, since your music "appreciation" seems to be limited to one genre, as most immature people's are, I shouldn't expect any more from you that what you have written.
I will look for future articles by you when you have matured.

Its not about "singing" anymore, its about a popularity contest. Who could be more outrageous and still keep it going, week after week. (As the "chicken little" kid couldn't carry a tune and should of been off the show the first day).
Its the same as those "Survivor Shows". Its all put up and make up and nothing that has any fact or substance to it, so, its not believable, but, is bearable for the masses whom must be entertained.
Zombified is what the American Culture is becoming with the "Boob Tube". For six years I refused to watch television, and I have come back for the last 3 years to see what I missed. I can see it really wasn't much, and I am disappointed.
I wish you well...
