As of Monday, October 13, 2008 at 3:15 PM the McCain/Palin campaign issued NO comment or statement. But of course they wouldn't. It would offend their 'Republican Base'!

My answer to Westboro and anyone else who would celebrate the death of Matthew Shepard:

Romans 3: 22-24
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Romans 5: 6-8
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
