Abstract:
It's easy to fool a lie detector. The rock-in-the-shoe trick, taking drugs to lower your heart rate, altering your breathing patterns - all discreet tactics that are guaranteed to work, right?
Wrong. They don't work. And they are detectable.
"It's one of the most archaic, one of the most basic attempts to fool a polygraph test," said Bill Evans, about suspects inflicting pain upon themselves to get their minds off the test....

All this guy is giving you is false information and more of the polygraph hoax, to support his machine and his paychecks. I would expect more of this paper than to support and give any credibility to a polygraph examiner. National Academy of Sciences invalidated the polygraph years ago. Any scientist or engineer of worth already knows what a crock this pseudo-science is. I highly suggest that you contact www.antipolygraph.org and really find out what the lie behind the lie detector is all about. His machine can be beat, and is beat by those that have the knowlege. 1 sided reporting is what this article is.
